If We Could Make One Change To The World, We Would Change The Following;

I posed a question to my peers; if you could change one thing about the world, what would it be? Here are the answers.
I wish that life was just a little easier
It intrigued me that the person who wrote this is someone who I know to be having one of the rougher rides life's rollercoaster has on offer but they've still managed to find many things to be appreciative of along the way. Isn't that always the way though, those that struggle most always complain least?
I wish for more money
This one had two versions; those that wanted financial security and that that wanted a life of luxury.
The first group simply wanted to know that they could put food on the table and that they had money saved up in case of an emergency. They just wanted to sleep well at night knowing they had a reserve to dive into in case life was planning to throw them a curve ball.
The second group wanted the jet set life. They craved 5 Star experiences and the latest of everything. For them money would be a way to turn life into one big party. I say good luck to this group, just try to avoid becoming disillusioned with your glamorous life. If you ever start feeling that it's less than fabulous, I suggest you take a look at what else the world has to offer and how some others have chosen to live. Maybe there's a different calling for you, or maybe you've forgotten how much you wanted this life.
I wish for an end to animal cruelty
This question brought out the selflessness in people.
As much as we want to be happy and successful and lead good lives, we also want this happiness for others because, as the old adage goes, seeing you happy makes me happy. The person who wrote this reply is particularly sentimental towards animals because they do not have a voice and as such, this person has decided to act on behalf of them. There might just be hope for the world yet.
I just want to be happy
By far the most common answer. It was phrased in a variety of ways but essentially, most of the people that took part in my survey said this. They didn't allude to how this happiness would be achieved- some said they didn't mind by what means, just as long as this was the result. Happiness, perhaps our most simple but most wished for change.
Good luck world, I noticed no one wished for war or inflation
